Neptronic's Compact Make-Up Air Unit (CMU) is equipped with advanced control strategies and a variety of size options to accommodate a wide range of HVAC applications. The CMU maximizes efficiency and enhances indoor air compensation, ensuring superior performance in HVAC system management. Equipped with Electronic Airflow Sensors (EAS), the CMU delivers precise temperature readings and integrates seamlessly with other building management systems with BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU communication protocols. Now, users can monitor supply temperatures, configure temperature setpoints based on airflow requirements, and receive alarm notifications.

Used in standard applications with aluminum filters, in which there is a lower pressure drop.

Includes the option of an AC or ECM motor:

  • AC motor provides a cost effective solution, with simple installation and operation.
  • ECM motor provides advanced control strategies, with high modulation capabilities and better efficiency.

Available for sizes ranging from 6 inches to 12 inches. (For sizes 14 inches and above, only centrifugal fans are available)

Used in applications with higher restriction on the filter, duct or zoning requirements, which result in a higher pressure drop.

Includes ECM motor:

  • ECM motor provides advanced control strategies, with high modulation capabilities and better efficiency.

Available for all sizes of the CMU ranging from 6 inches to 20 inches.

  • BACnet MS/TP or Modbus RTU (selectable via DIP switch)
  • Select MAC address via DIP switch or via network

  • MS/TP @9600, 19200, 38400 or 76800 bps
  • BACnet scheduler (up to 6 events)

  • Copy and broadcast configuration to other devices via menu or network

Modbus RTU

  • Modbus RTU @9600, 19200, 38400 or 57600 bps
